The Iranian regime has detained Johan Floderossi, who traveled to Iran on behalf of the European Union for EU-related work, and has accused him of engaging in political espionage.

The Iranian regime persists in sowing chaos worldwide, with its latest threat involving the execution of a Swedish citizen.

Johan Floderus, a Swedish EU official incarcerated in Iran, faced his final hearing on Sunday. The prosecutor is pushing for the harshest punishment, seeking the death penalty for the charges against Johan Floderus.

Floderus stands accused of spying on behalf of Israel, with the regime fabricating crimes against him.

Working on cooperation issues for the EU Foreign Service, Floderus was apprehended in Tehran in April 2022 during a private trip and has been held in Iran's notorious Evin prison since. This imprisonment is suspected to be part of Iran's effort to negotiate a prisoner exchange with Sweden.
