He will visit the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and meet with senior officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
A high-level US delegation led by White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk is scheduled to visit the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG) in the coming hours.
The meetings will focus on the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi Federal Government, as well as the relations between the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Kurdistan National Union (KNU) and the issue of natural gas in the Kurdistan Region.
The US delegation is reportedly in Baghdad, where they will hold several meetings with senior Iraqi officials.
Brett McGurk will be accompanied by a delegation of advisors and military officers.
According to his schedule, he will meet only with President Nechirvan Barzani today and tomorrow with other leaders of the Kurdistan Region and political parties.
