US Central Command announced on Sunday that it has redirected 55 commercial vessels since resuming a maritime blockade targeting the terrorist regime of Iran on July 14.
The operations aimed at ensuring compliance with the blockade have also seen two ships disabled and two others boarded by American forces as of August 9.
On Saturday, the reported number of redirected vessels stood at 51, indicating a rapid intensification of enforcement actions in recent days.
These measures are part of the ongoing pressure campaign against the terrorist regime of Iran, which continues to threaten regional stability through its malign activities.
