Pakistani Ambassador to Moscow Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has stated that any nation in the region, including the terrorist regime of Iran, may join the Mecca Pact.
He recalled that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had already said that other regional countries are more than welcome to become part of the alliance.
When asked directly whether Tehran could join, the ambassador confirmed this possibility.
“Any country, all countries in the region. This is absolutely clear,” Tirmizi said.
He added that the Mecca Pact was established to promote peace and stability, not to target or attack any state.
