Rudaw 24 - The Kremlin has revealed a meeting that took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the commander of the Wagner Private Military Company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, five days after their rebellion, which was resolved through Belarusian mediation.
The Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the meeting between Putin and Prigozhin lasted for about 3 hours and was also attended by leaders of private military companies.
He added that during the meeting, Putin assessed Wagner's involvement in the Russian war on Ukraine and the events of the rebellion. He also listened to the Wagner leaders who confirmed their support for the Russian President and their commitment to continue fighting for Russia.
The spokesperson also mentioned that Putin presented options for employment and utilization of the Wagner group's members in the military field during his meeting with the Wagner leaders.
