According to a report by the Associated Press, the FBI succeeded in uncovering a plan orchestrated by the Iranian regime, which involved hiring an assassin to kill Donald Trump. During their investigation, the FBI gathered information indicating that individuals or groups were seeking to hire a professional assassin as a contractor to carry out this plot.
Al Arabiya’s correspondent also reported that the Iranian individual accused of attempting to assassinate Trump has close ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
