Maria Malmer, Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, announced during a parliamentary session: “Yesterday, Sweden, together with Ukraine, Canada, and the United Kingdom, submitted a request to the International Court of Justice in The Hague regarding the case we have brought against Iran.”
She added: “Our goal is to ensure that Iran’s responsibility for the downing of the plane is established under international law, and justice is served for the families of the victims.”
