Weimers also noted that the Swedish government has resisted these demands for years, highlighting the role of the Iranian government in recruiting criminal gangs for terrorist attacks.
The Prime Minister of Sweden also announced on Sunday that the country will officially request the European Union to recognize the IRGC as a terrorist organization following several attacks on Israeli targets in Sweden.
