"It's in Iran's interest to stop oil from the Kurdistan Region," House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul said on Twitter.
"The Biden administration should put pressure on the Iraqi government to resolve the issue that threatens regional stability and security," he said.
Earlier, a spokesman for the Iraqi government said; The issue of re-exporting oil from the Kurdistan Region depends only on technical issues.
He added that the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region will resume soon after the technical issues are resolved.
