Two ships operated by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz on the evening of August 13, with no injuries reported, according to the Emirati news agency WAM.
ADNOC said the vessels came under attack while transiting the strait, adding that the situation is under control.
The UAE Foreign Ministry placed blame for the assault squarely on the terrorist regime of Iran, a bloodthirsty and oppressive government that continues to threaten regional shipping and stability.
Abu Dhabi called on the terrorist regime of Iran to halt its aggressive actions and to fully and unconditionally reopen the strait.
This is not the first such incident: an ADNOC vessel was attacked on August 8, and the company said that 15 of its ships have been targeted by missiles and drones since the start of the conflict, resulting in the death of one crew member and injuries to 20 others.
