Air Force jets, guided by precise intelligence from the Intelligence Directorate and Mossad, attacked Hezbollah's central headquarters located underground beneath a residential building in the Dahiya area of Beirut.
This attack took place while senior Hezbollah officials were in the command headquarters, coordinating terrorist activities against Israeli citizens.
During Hassan Nasrallah’s 32-year tenure as Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, the terrorist leader was responsible for the deaths of many Israeli civilians and soldiers, planning and executing thousands of terrorist actions against Israeli citizens, as well as orchestrating terrorist operations worldwide.
Nasrallah was the central decision-maker and the sole approver of every strategic-military decision, and in some cases, he even made tactical decisions for the organization.
Under his leadership, Hezbollah joined Hamas in the war against Israel on October 8, dragging Lebanon and the region into a severe crisis.
The Israeli military will continue to strike anyone who executes or promotes terrorist operations against Israeli citizens.
