Today, Saturday, the Polish Border Guard Agency announced the arrival of 26,900 refugees from Ukraine in the past 24 hours; This brings the total number of Ukrainians fleeing to Poland since the beginning of the Russian military operation to 12.3 million refugees.
And the agency stated - according to English-language radio "Poland" - that about 25,500 Ukrainians left Poland on Friday to return to their country again, noting that the total number of Ukrainians returning to their country has now reached 10.5 million people.
It is noteworthy that Poland had passed, in March 2022, a bill providing a support package for Ukrainian refugees fleeing their country, granting them legal residence and guaranteeing them the right to access education, health care and social services.
