Washington imposes sanctions on 3 individuals for aiding North Korea
The US Treasury announced on Monday that it has imposed sanctions on three individuals accused of providing support to North Korea through illicit financing and malicious electronic activity. The Treasury statement identified the individuals as a currency dealer based in China, another based in Hong Kong, and a representative of North Korea's Kwangson Banking Corporation, who recently moved to Dandong, China.
