The Ukrainian authorities announced that Russian forces bombed infrastructure facilities in the cities

The Ukrainian authorities announced that Russian forces bombed infrastructure facilities in the cities of "Zaporozhya" and "Kryvyi Rih" throughout the night, which led to damage to the facilities.

The secretary of the Zaporozhye City

Council, Anatoly Kurtiev, said, according to the Ukrainian news agency "Ukrinform", today, Monday, that the Russian forces bombed the industrial and energy infrastructure facilities in the city.

"This time, the Russians bombed the citys industrial and energy infrastructure facilities with their deadly missiles, and it is known that a private company was damaged, and at the moment, information about casualties and victims is being determined," he added.

For his part, the head of the military department in Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkol, said that several powerful explosions rocked the city, and more information will be provided later.

In the context, the authorities of the Donetsk region confirmed that 10 civilians, including a child, were injured in violent Ukrainian shelling that targeted the city and its environs with foreign-made Grad heavy artillery missiles.

And the authorities indicated, according to (Russia Today) channel, that the Kyiv forces fired more than 90 shells at residential areas and civilian infrastructure within one day.

In turn, a source in the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the "Osa" air defense missile systems destroy about 5 Ukrainian targets per day in the area of the special military operation, explaining that most of these targets are from drones that carry out aerial reconnaissance.

The source added: “These systems, thanks to their design features, can cross water obstacles without the need to establish floating crossings, and each system is equipped with a radar station that allows it to detect hostile targets, especially drones that are trying to conduct aerial reconnaissance of the areas of deployment of offensive units and defensive sites of the Russian armed forces.”  Then it will be destroyed."

He confirmed that the OSA systems were able to carry out more than 200 successful launches during the special military operation.

The main task of these systems is to destroy various types of aircraft, helicopters and drones.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, indicating that this operation came in response to a request for help from the heads of the Donbass republics.

Putin stressed that Moscow had no plans to occupy Ukrainian lands, but aimed at disarmament, and the United States and its allies responded by imposing tough sanctions and increasing arms supplies to Ukraine.
