Seven people have been killed in an armed attack on a water park in Mexico
Police "arrived at the scene and found the bodies of three women, three men and a seven-year-old child," the municipality said in a statement. Except for someone who is seriously injured."
The gunmen arrived at the La Palma water park at 4:30 pm local time (22:30) "to carry out the attack," the city council said in a statement.
The gunmen opened fire on a group of people and then took away the surveillance cameras before withdrawing, the statement said.

Guanajuato, the city of Cortázar in central Mexico, has seen an increase in drug-related violence in recent years.
The booming industrial state has become one of Mexico's most violent states due to the conflict between the Santa Rosa de Lima criminal gang and the New Generation Jalisco cartel, which specializes in fuel theft and drug trafficking.
Since 2006, when the government deployed the army to fight drug cartels, it has recorded more than 350,000 killings.
