The Karkh court in Baghdad has issued arrest warrants for 65 people, including the so-called Companions of the Case, a group that has asked to pledge allegiance to Muqtada al-Sadr as Imam Mahdi al-Muntazir, on charges of disrupting social peace and causing chaos.
Last night, Muqtada al-Sadr decided to suspend all activities of his movement for at least a year because of the call, saying that if they can not reform the movement internally, how can they reform Iraq.
